How it works:
The water (cold) entering your combi boiler comes directly from the mains supply and is at approx 13 degrees. The boiler burners raise it to 65 degrees. If you could pre-warm the water then the boiler would not use so much gas to heat the water.

The Solar Water Storage system uses a solar water panel or Photovoltaic panel to pre-heat the water which is stored in a small or large storage tank. This stored pre-warmed water then passes into the boiler on demand. Designed to pre-heat the water so that the boiler reduces the amount of gas required to lift it to your preset heat setting.
The system is designed to supplement the heating effect of the combi boiler.
It is a conservative estimate that a saving of £192 per year can be made.
All of the systems can be installed by a competent DIY installer.
